Guillermo del Toro logra 13 nominaciones al Oscar con La Forma del Agua

CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 23 de enero 2018.- La Academia de Cine de Hollywood hizo oficial este martes la lista de los nominados a los premios Oscar 2018, la edición número 90 de la premiación que se celebrará el domingo 4 de marzo.

La forma del agua, del mexicano Guillermo del Toro, se ha colocado como una de las favoritas a los Oscar 2018 con 13 nominaciones, entre ellas mejor película, dirección, guion original y actriz con protagonista Sally Hawkins.

En la película, Del Toro cuenta la historia de amor entre una limpiadora muda y un monstruo acuático, y se quedó a una sola candidatura del récord de 14 nominaciones como lo hicieran en su momento el musical La La Land y otra película romántica Titanic.

Las otras películas que competirán por el premio a la mejor película son Dunkerque, Tres anuncios en las afueras, El hilo invisible, Lady Bird, Los archivos del Pentágono, Déjame salir, Call me by your name y El instante más oscuro.
